The popular well-serviced resort of Argentière is one of the best-loved Alpine resorts, being situated at the foot of Les Grands Montets, 7 minutes’ drive from the chalet (renowned for its vast, varied area which offers a wide range of pistes and extensive powder fields for off-piste enthusiasts, as well as gentler slopes and ski school for beginners). The world-famous ski resort of Chamonix is only 18 minutes’ drive away.
Ideal for both winter sports and summertime stays, the breath-taking scenery and fantastic range of outdoor leisure pursuits make this an inviting year-round destination. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet à la vue magnifique. Cependant, un petit coup de rafraichissement ne lui ferait pas de mal. Rideaux absents ou déchirés, appareil à raclette en piteuse état, canapés inconfortables et très anciens, chaises de table en bois inconfortables. Le vintage à son charme mais pas quand il touche au confort. Côté sanitaire, le WC de l'étage est pratiquement inutilisable et dégage une mauvaise odeur. Il serait bien également de mettre une verrière ou un rideau à la baignoire afin que les moins souples puisse se doucher debout. .La literie est bien, les couettes bien chaudes et les draps et serviettes parfaitement propres. Le ménage était fait à notre arrivée et nous avons appréciés le petit coffret gourmand offert en guise d'accueil. Nous avons aimé aussi la quantité de livres mis à notre disposition. Ce fut un régal littéraire. Ce chalet atypique est un peu trop dans son jus mais possède un énorme potentiel qu'il serait bon d'exploiter. En tous cas, nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour et nous recommandons le logement à toutes personnes aimant la nature et le calme.
